In the fall of 2017, the City of Brunswick applied for the New Urbanism’s call for Legacy Projects around the Georgia Coast. A project team was assembled based on areas of focus identified by the city.

The City of Brunswick focused on the Norwich Street Corridor—creating strategies for transforming nearly two miles of historic commercial corridor with a focus on four specific intersections that offer immediate redevelopment potential.

The City of Brunswick continues to identify local development opportunities and encourage business and economic development.
